AJ McKee Will Meet Brandon Phillips at Bellator 171

AJ McKee will put his perfect record on the line against Brandon Phillips.

McKee will look to move his undefeated record to 7-0 against Brandon Phillips at Bellator 171, in Mulvante, Kansas on January 27.

After starting his career with five first round finishes, AJ McKee took on late replacement Ray Wood and went to the judges for the first time in his career, scoring a unanimous decision victory. The 21-year-old son of MMA vet Antonio McKee has shown all around abilities earning 3 TKO’s and 2 submissions in his young career. The young McKee may be the most promising young talent in the division.

Brandon Phillips (5-2) made his first appearance in the Bellator cage in August of this year, picking up a decision win over Chuka Willis. Following that he moved over to the World Series of Fighting and dropped his first and only fight with the promotion and was choked out in round two against undefeated Bryce Mitchell. He will be in tough in his return to the Bellator cage against McKee.

Bellator 171 will be headlined by Melvin Guillard and Chidi Njokuani. Also on the card is Jordan Young will face off against Chris Harris.
