Straight Blast Gym’s featherweight James Gallagher has signed with Bellator.
Gallagher, 3-0, has agreed to a contract with the promotion according to a report released by MMAfighting early Thursday morning.
The undefeated 19-year-old, who most recently was fighting out of the UK based fight promotion BAMMA, has finished all of his opponents by first-round submissions.
MMAfighting reported that he’s still obligated to finish his current contract with BAMMA before testing the waters in Bellator’s 145-pound division. He’s set to face 4-2 Sean Tobbin on June 4th of this year before making his Bellator debut.
“It is only the begging for me, I’m only 19 years old, I’m young and hungry.” Said Gallagher according to an Instagram post. “I’m coming to take all your belts and all your money prepare.”
