Holloway Has The Vaccine For Aldo’s ‘Pussy-itis”

Max Holloway is focused on Anthony Pettis, but clearly would like to get his hands on Aldo.

The hardest thing to accomplish in MMA over the past year, or so is to get a title shot if you’re name is Max Holloway. Winner of nine in a row, he’s been calling out Jose Aldo for some time now, but with no luck. Holloway was on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and he didn’t pull any punches.

“There was rumour of us fighting at 205, there was rumour of us fighting at here at 206 and the motherfucker kept saying, no,” Holloway said. “everybody knows what I’ve been saying, he got that fucking disease ‘pussy-itis’, there is one guy who’s got that vaccine, and his names Max Holloway. He can come see me if he ever wants that vaccine.”

Even though Aldo has been gifted the undisputed featherweight title and the UFC has said the winner Pettis and Holloway will meet Aldo for the undisputed title, he still seems a little hesitant to believe it.

“We will see what happens,” Holloway said. “With all these things going on it just makes it super clear, whoever wins this gets Aldo next. Everyone knows how vocal I’ve been against Aldo, so everything go good the road is straight and Aldo is going to be next, They’re saying it is going to be for the undisputed, so we will see what happens. Worse comes to worse, I don’t really care, all I want to do is prove I am the best in the world and come December 10 it is going to be one more step towards greatness.

Without a doubt Holloway is licking his chops at an opportunity to fight with Jose Aldo, but is well aware he has a fight on his hands in Anthony Pettis and respects what he’s done in the sport. Make no mistake though if he gets through Pettis it’s right back to Aldo.

“first things first is Anthony Pettis, this guy is the former champion of the world,” he said. “He knows what it takes to get to this position. I am fully focused on him and if everything goes good I will have some words for Aldo after the fight.”

Max Holloway has won nine in a row, but none of them are going to matter if he doesn’t win this one. What do you think does Holloway have what it takes to get through Pettis?
