Legacy Fighting Alliance 4 will be headlined by a featherweight title unification bout.
LFA is the product of the Legacy Fighting Championship and Resurrection Fighting Alliance merger back in the fall. The promotion announced today they will crown their first ever featherweight champion at LFA 4 in February.
It will be a champion vs champion bout between the two pre-existing promotions featherweight champions. RFA champion Raoni Barcelos (11-1) and Legacy FC titleholder Kevin Aguilar (11-1) will unify their titles on February 17, in Louisiana.
The 29 year old Barcelos is currently riding a four fight win streak and defended his featherweight belt twice prior to the merger. A powerful striker Barcelos has collected 6 KO/TKO victories in his 12 fight career. He will be looking to make it five in a row and add another championship title to his collection in Louisiana.
Kevin Aguilar is a killer. He is currently riding a three fight win streak, with his only loss coming against UFC veteran Leonard Garcia. Aguilar won his featherweight title in his last fight under the LFC banner. Much like Barcelos he’s a power puncher and has tallied 7 KO/TKO victories in his careers.
The unification bout goes down on February 17 in Bossier City, Louisiana at Horseshoe Bossier City Hotel and Casino. The main card will air live on AXS TV.
