Bellator 155 is starting to shape up with the addition of two main card match-ups.
The first announced fight is a lightweight scrap between former title contender Marcin Held and Bellator veteran Dave Jensen.
Held, coming off a unanimous decision loss to lightweight Will Brooks last November. He will be looking to comeback strong make his presence felt in shark infested water that is Bellator’s lightweight division. Coincidentally, Dave Jensen is also coming of a unanimous decision loss to Will Brooks as well. With both fighters still right at the head of the pack, this fight could open the door to a title shot.
Bellator also announced a heavyweight tilt between two former UFC vets Chase Gormley and Joey Beltran.
Gormley’s debut didn’t exactly go as planned. As he ended up on the losing end after getting KO’d in the second round by Dan Charles. On the flip side, Joey Beltran is also looking to get some momentum going in his direction after dropping his fight against TUF 3 winner Kendall Grove. This fight is a good opportunity for one of these fighters to put one in the win column and get themselves moving in the right direction.
Both fights will be part of the main card of Bellator 155 which airs on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
