WSOF 35 Locks in Three Title Fights

World Series of Fighting had a lot of announcements in regards to WSOF 35. They now have an official location and it will host three title fights.

WSOF 35 is set for March 18, at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY.

Heavyweight champion Blagoy Ivanov will defend his title against Shawn Jordan. WSOF also added Lance “The Party” Palmer who will defend his title against undefeated prospect Andre Harrison. After vacating Marlon Moraes’ bantamweight title the WSOF brass booked Bekbulat Magomedov and Timur Valiev do battle for the bantamweight title.

Palmer won the belt in 2014 from Rick Glenn with a third round submission. He successfully defended it against Chris Horodecki. He lost the first of two against Alexandre Almeida, before winning the title back in a rematch in July of 2016.

Andre Harrison has been a champion with every promotion he’s competed with. He comes into Palmer fight off the heels of an incredible debut with the promotion. He made his presence felt immediately dispatching of Bruce Boyington  in under two minutes.

Magomedov came to WSOF as a 16-0 prospect out of Dagestan. He has only tasted defeat once, in his WSOF debut against Josh Hill. He bounced back strong, winning a unanimous decision against Jesse Brock.

Valiev who is also a native of Dagestan is an impressive 11-2. Like Magomedov, Valiev’s lone loss came with the promotion when he dropped a split decision against Chris Gutierrez. He avenged the loss with an immediate rematch where he cruised to a unanimous decision victory.

More fights will be announced shortly.
